Cycling
- AMS Bike Co-op is a student-run organization dedicated to improving the UBC cycling environment. The Co-op offers a variety of services, including but not limited to cycling advocacy.
- The Bike Kitchen is UBC's non-profit, student-owned, full-service bike shop. What more couldja ask for?!
- Bike Sense Manual is a guide to the rules of the road, bike handling, traffic skills and "the enjoyment of cycling for life."
- Bikely lets cyclists map out their bike routes so as to share favourites with others.
- British Columbia Cycling Coalition is non-profit society that represents the interests of cyclists provincially, and that seeks to secure their recognition in policy and programs affecting transportational cycling.

- Critical Mass - Vancouver Your online guide to this monthly party-on-wheels.
- George Massey Tunnel Bicycle Shuttle Information about the free shuttle service for bicycles and their riders through the George Massey Tunnel (convenient if you're cycling to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal).
- Our Community Bikes / PEDAL is a non-profit bicycle recycling depot, a full repair shop, and an educational workshop available to people who wish to repair their own bikes or learn how to do so.

- Travel with Bicycles How to travel with bikes via planes, trains, buses, and ferries.
- Vancouver Area Cycling Coalition (VACC) is a volunteer-run non-profit society, whose members work to improve conditions for cycling in the Lower Mainland.
Public Transit
- BC Transit is a provincial crown agency responsible for coordinating the delivery of public transportation within British Columbia, Canada, outside of Greater Vancouver.
- Coast Mountain Bus Company is an operating subsidiary of TransLink, the Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority, and is responsible for the fleet of buses, smaller community shuttles, and SeaBus.
- Kelowna Regional Transit System
- District of West Vancouver - Blue Bus Transit. Blue buses operate under contract to TransLink and serve West Vancouver, Downtown Vancouver, Lions Bay and UBC
- TransLink HandyDART is a public transit service that uses specially equipped vehicles designed to carry passengers with physical or cognitive disabilities who are unable to use public transit without assistance.
- TransLink (Homepage). TransLink, officially known as the Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority, is a transportation organization that services transportation needs of the GVRD.
- TransLink Trip Planning is a handy online service that generates a transit itinerary based time, location of departure and destination.
- TransLink 2008 Transportation Plan describes a number of proposed initiatives, including fleet expansion; it also contains information on inflation-based transit fare increases. Read TransLink's other Transportation Plans, including their 40 year plan here.
- West Coast Express links Mission, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam, and Port Moody with Waterfront Station in downtown Vancouver, where it interchanges with SkyTrain rapid transit, SeaBus and other public transportation services.
Carpooling / Carsharing
- Carpool.ca is a Britsh-Columbia based company that actively promotes the development of rideshare programs; find a carpool buddy here!
- Carsharing.ca is a non-profit, industry effort to expand the availability of, and environmental benefits from, car sharing in Canada.
- The Company Car offers low-cost access to a car for the times when your company needs one.
- Co-operative Auto Network is a cost-effective and efficient alternative to owning your own car, without the cost, hassles and pollution of ownership.
- Jack Bell Rideshare - Carpool / Vanpool Database can help you find a casual or formal ride-share (carpool arrangement) for your work-day commute in British Columbia!
- World CarShare Consortium offers a convenient place on the web to gather and share information on local carsharing projects around the world.
- Zipcar maintains and insures vehicles that it parks throughout dense urban areas. Members can reserve the vehicles for as little as one hour.

- Metro Vancouver's Livable Regional Strategic Plan is Greater Vancouver's regional growth strategy. It was adopted by the Board with the formal support of all municipalities in 1996. The primary goal of the plan is to help maintain regional livability and protect the environment in the face of anticipated growth. One of the four main strategies is to "increase transportation choice." Metro Vancouver is currently in the process of adopting a new Regional Growth Strategy entitled Metro Vancouver 2040: Shaping our Future.
